Welcome to Americas Antiques LLC   Our History We have been buying and selling antique quilts for over 25 years, starting with antique Amish quilts from Holmes County, Ohio, the largest Amish settlement in the world!  We found wonderful examples of Amish craftswomanship, with many of those graphic antique quilts in private collections and museums, such as the Shelburne in Vermont. Many of our "finds" were professionally photographed and can be found in various antique quilt calendars and antique quilt books. With over 60 years of combined business experience, we sell quality antique quilts which we find at auction and in various communities. We are very knowledgeable when it comes to antique quilts and fabrics, which allows us to accurately identify and date our finds. We professionally hand launder our antique quilts, unless they are in relatively clean, unwashed, condition which some collectors find desirable. Since most of our antique quilts are over 100 years old, expect to find some flaws as it's very unusual to find them in mint condition. We are ALWAYS honest in calling any flaws we see (even the most minor ones), and NEVER offer any antique quilts made overseas, as we wouldn't want these inferior products in our own collection. We at Americas Antiques LLC pride ourselves in being able to offer freshly laundered antique quilts whenever possible. Here's our reasoning - if we purchase an antique quilt that is stained or has odors, we feel our customers would literally "turn up their noses", and who would blame them! Wouldn't you prefer to have an antique quilt that is clean and fresh, with the previous owners' stains, germs and odors removed? An antique quilt that can be given as a gift or immediately used to decorate a room? Well, so do we!!
